What sports or activities did you participate in growing up?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

When did you begin to take MMA seriously as a hobby and then as a potential profession?
I started training for MMA at 15 and began competing as soon as I turned 18—the legal fighting age in Victoria.

Favourite aspect of training or favourite session of the week, and why?
Sparring with my brother, Jett Fisher. He was the number one amateur featherweight for two years before turning pro, so we push each other every session.

What are your greatest strengths as an athlete or a fighter?
Relentless pressure and cardio.

How would you describe your fighting style?
Kaos.

What is your favourite sport and why?
MMA—nothing else compares.

Alexander Volkanovski

Justin Gaethje & Alexander Volkanovski

What are your immediate and long-term goals?
Immediate: Keep winning and building my career.
Long-term: Do this full-time and become a professional world champion.

When fans see your name on a fight poster, what should they expect?
I’ve already had three Fight of the Night performances—expect fireworks.

How do you see your upcoming fight playing out?
Non-stop action. I’ll put him on the back foot and throw everything at him.
