During covid and the 4 major surgeries i had in 2020. When everything is taken away from you, you realize what is most important
Favourite aspect of training or favourite session of the week, and why:
“Going live” as you get to test where you are at, what technique works and expose holes in you game that need improvement. I love mixing all of the elements together. Boxing, wrestling, BJJ and kickboxing and hitting clean techniques in training.
What are your greatest strengths as an athlete or a fighter:
I will never give up.
How would you describe your fighting style:
Box and wrestle
What is your favourite sport and why:
MMA – its the ultimate test for the body and the mind. It requires physicality, you need to be fit and strong, mental resilience so you don’t cave under the stress and pressure of conflict and competing, and knowledge so that you can learn new techniques, upskill and study the best way to cut weight.
Who is your favourite athlete:
Michael Jordan – I love his mindset and competitive nature.
Who is your favourite combat sports athlete:
I don’t have one favourite, I enjoy watching all fighters and seeing how they implement their game plan, whether it’s to keep the fight standing so they can strike or to get it to the ground so they can grapple.
What are your immediate and long term goals:
Keep fighting and competing locally on eternal until my body gives out or i have multiples loses.
When fans see your name on a fight poster, what should they expect:
win lose or draw, I want to be entertaining, I want to leave it all in the cage and give 100%. I want to finish the fight and not go to a decision. i want there to be a clear winner
How do you see your upcoming fight playing out:
I think the fitter person will win. I think the fight will be determine by the wrestling and who can defend the takedowns and who can secure the takedown and who is most efficient with their energy expenditure.

I took mma up as a hobby at the age of 25 , had a short amateur career then decide to go professional at the age of 27

I love all aspects of martial arts training, every day is a school day in sbg Hq Friday bjj 10 5minute rounds to end the week of hard training is my favorite
What are your greatest strengths as an athlete or a fighter:
People say I’m very strong and explosive But i believe my skills are my greatest strength as I feel I am a well rounded mixed martial artist that can mix it up very well

As a hobby at age 14 Started training seriously at my first gym at age 16 By age 18 had first fight and thats when i knew i was doing this for the rest of my life

Learning something new about myself or something i didnt know about the sport. Im a coach myself but ill always be a student of the game.

What sports or activities did you participate in growing up:
I played many sports throughout my whole life. In school doing athletics, tennis, cross-country, soccer, and swimming. Outside of school focusing and (taking seriously) soccer up until 16yrs old, then I found AFL and played senior football until my 20’s. Then after this I found MMA and never looked back.
When did you begin to take MMA seriously as a hobby and then as a potential profession:
I tried MMA out in late 2017 for a couple of months, then came back to it around 2019. Picked it back up and haven’t looked back! I turned professional in 2023.
Favourite aspect of training or favourite session of the week, and why:
I love every day, I get to do what I love because I love what I do. To be able to chase an endless journey of growth and bettering yourself has always been attractive to me. There is an endless amount to learn and improve on so as long as I’m learning and practicing everyday… then I’m happy.
What are your greatest strengths as an athlete or a fighter:
I’m unbreakable. My determination and mindset is so strong that I feel it is one of my greatest strengths. I also back this up with a sickening and insane work ethic. I know I can go deep deep down and keep on pushing long after any opponent can.
How would you describe your fighting style:
I have an always changing style to suit whoever I am up against. I can adapt and change right there in the moment. Usually my style is wild and I throw everything into my output, lots of movement, scrambles and constant work rate.
What is your favourite sport and why:
Mixed Martial Arts, Why: Ever since starting this sport I have loved the many aspects to this sport. So many different layers, so much to learn and so much to constantly work on. I love the ideology of being a martial artist and a warrior.
Who is your favourite athlete:
Myself in 5 years…. but in 5 years time, it will be myself again… in 5 more years. Someone I aspire to be like is Georges St Pierre as he was a true martial artist and a great role model/individual.
