As a hobby at age 14 Started training seriously at my first gym at age 16 By age 18 had first fight and thats when i knew i was doing this for the rest of my life

Learning something new about myself or something i didnt know about the sport. Im a coach myself but ill always be a student of the game.

What sports or activities did you participate in growing up:
I played many sports throughout my whole life. In school doing athletics, tennis, cross-country, soccer, and swimming. Outside of school focusing and (taking seriously) soccer up until 16yrs old, then I found AFL and played senior football until my 20’s. Then after this I found MMA and never looked back.
When did you begin to take MMA seriously as a hobby and then as a potential profession:
I tried MMA out in late 2017 for a couple of months, then came back to it around 2019. Picked it back up and haven’t looked back! I turned professional in 2023.
Favourite aspect of training or favourite session of the week, and why:
I love every day, I get to do what I love because I love what I do. To be able to chase an endless journey of growth and bettering yourself has always been attractive to me. There is an endless amount to learn and improve on so as long as I’m learning and practicing everyday… then I’m happy.
What are your greatest strengths as an athlete or a fighter:
I’m unbreakable. My determination and mindset is so strong that I feel it is one of my greatest strengths. I also back this up with a sickening and insane work ethic. I know I can go deep deep down and keep on pushing long after any opponent can.
How would you describe your fighting style:
I have an always changing style to suit whoever I am up against. I can adapt and change right there in the moment. Usually my style is wild and I throw everything into my output, lots of movement, scrambles and constant work rate.
What is your favourite sport and why:
Mixed Martial Arts, Why: Ever since starting this sport I have loved the many aspects to this sport. So many different layers, so much to learn and so much to constantly work on. I love the ideology of being a martial artist and a warrior.
Who is your favourite athlete:
Myself in 5 years…. but in 5 years time, it will be myself again… in 5 more years. Someone I aspire to be like is Georges St Pierre as he was a true martial artist and a great role model/individual.

When I moved to Australia I started training with the Noke brothers and it became my life pretty quickly. When I made the move to middle weight I started seeing it as a career.

Cricket and soccer as a kid and then played rugby league from 12-19. Also played basketball in high school
When did you begin to take MMA seriously as a hobby and then as a potential profession:
I started at 19 just to learn how to fight a bit and know how to defend myself. I quickly fell in love and started training every day and had my first fight after 8 months of training

Sparring and wrestling for sure. I just love competing
What are your greatest strengths as an athlete or a fighter:
I think my distance management and kicking are some key skills, physical strength and endurance,strong takedown defence. And just a strong competitive drive
How would you describe your fighting style:
Striking at long range, controlling pace and space, on the inside I like to knee and elbow and heavy ground and pound if the opportunity presents itself
What is your favourite sport and why:
MMA, I think it’s the ultimate sport and we are the ultimate athletes because we can beat any other athletes in a fight

Has to be israel adesanya, also a big fan of Kobe Bryant and Usyk/ GGG in boxing

Immediate goals are to win this fight obviously then become the best welterweight in Australia then be in the ufc in a few years

a great performance and you’ll be watching someone who comes to hurt his opponents not just hold on and stall to the final bell
How do you see your upcoming fight playing out:
I think I’m gonna knock him out, I don’t think he’ll be able to take the punishment I will put on him for 3 rounds

Probably the same as every other mma fighter ever haha Sparring of course, there’s nothing quite like punching someone in the face and vice versa.

My ability to bounce back from adversity of any kind. You could say I’m hard headed haha

Annoying pressure…. I walk my opponents down, it’s suffocating to them.

What are your immediate and long term goals:
Immediate goal is always the opponent in front of me. Long term goals, to become the best undisputed lightweight in Australia and New Zealand and earn myself a contract on the world stage.
When fans see your name on a fight poster, what should they expect:
Excitement and lots of smiles, I absolutely love what I do and it is very hard for me not to smile before, during and after my fights. They can expect to see constant pressure and something new each fight.
How do you see your upcoming fight playing out:
I am not one for predicting fights however, I do feel my pressure style is a nightmare for anyone to deal with. I will as always look to take my opponent into very deep water and when the opportunity arises finish them.
